An individual has been apprehended and formally charged in connection with the murder of a woman in central Glasgow. Sandie Butler, aged 40, was discovered with severe injuries on St Mungo Avenue on Tuesday at approximately 12:55, and her death was confirmed a short time later. Law enforcement initiated a homicide inquiry subsequent to a post-mortem examination. According to Police Scotland, a 53-year-old man is scheduled to appear before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday. His appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court is set for Monday, 4 November.
