A 31-year-old man has been charged with the sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl. The incident reportedly occurred while the girl was walking her dog. This event took place in Cardiff at approximately 17:30 on Friday. South Wales Police stated that the alleged assault occurred on a footpath located between Cardiff Golf Club and Pentwyn Road, which runs past Glyn Rhosyn, Pontprennau. The police force also indicated that the man, who is from Adamsdown, Cardiff, has been charged in connection with a separate incident on 23 October. Police reported that he allegedly approached a 15-year-old girl on a bus traveling between Barry and Cardiff and made “improper suggestions”. He has been taken into custody and is scheduled to appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on Friday. He faces charges of sexual assault by touching a girl under 13 years of age and with inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
