The incident occurred at approximately 21:10 GMT on Tuesday, when a Yamaha YP 400 motorcycle, proceeding on the A350 in Wiltshire in the direction of Semington, was involved in a collision with a Volkswagen vehicle operated by a man in his twenties at the West Ashton crossroads. The driver of the Volkswagen reported no injuries. Wiltshire Police issued a statement, confirming: “Next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this tragic time.” As of Wednesday morning, a section of the road between Yarnbrook and Ashton Common remains closed to allow for ongoing forensic examinations.
