An individual in his forties passed away following a collision with a vehicle close to Chatham, Kent. The incident occurred around 20:00 GMT on Monday in Walderslade Woods, specifically before the intersection with Wildfell Close. According to Kent Police, a silver Kia Sportage, heading east in the direction of Boxley, collided with the pedestrian, who was reportedly situated in the roadway. The police confirmed that the man succumbed to his injuries at the location of the incident, and his family members have been notified. Kent Police stated that an inquiry into the collision has been initiated. The South East Coast Ambulance Service was also present at the scene. Authorities have requested that any witnesses or individuals possessing dashcam footage come forward.
