An individual has entered a not guilty plea to the murder of a 34-year-old, who sustained fatal stab wounds last week. John Donaldson, the victim, passed away in hospital following the stabbing incident, which occurred on Birchington Avenue in Eston, Middlesbrough, around 21:00 GMT on Thursday. The 38-year-old man appeared at Teesside Crown Court, where he denied charges of murder, possession of a knife, and criminal damage. The defendant, a resident of Middlesbrough, has been remanded in custody. The trial is scheduled to commence on 12 May next year.
