An individual has been ordered to be held in custody, facing charges of three counts of raping another man. Kurtis Harper, aged 30, was apprehended on Saturday following the alleged assault at a property situated in Hopton, near Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. His appearance before Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday also included charges of one count of aggravated burglary and one count of possessing a blade – specifically, a knife featuring “pizza” engraved along its side – which was discovered during his apprehension on the A47 in Gorleston. Mr. Harper, residing at Ordnance Road, Great Yarmouth, did not enter a plea and was subsequently remanded in custody until his scheduled appearance at Norwich Crown Court on 13 January. The Norfolk Police force has issued a call for any potential witnesses to present themselves. Updates on Norfolk news can be followed via BBC Sounds, Facebook, Instagram, and X.
