A murder charge has been brought against a man, three years following the fatal stabbing of a 26-year-old individual. Adil Iqbal, aged 27, appeared before the court, facing charges related to the murder of Bashir Mohamed in April 2021, which occurred in Shyltons Croft, Ladywood, Birmingham. Mr. Iqbal, a resident of Aston, was remanded into custody at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Friday and is scheduled for an appearance at the city’s crown court on Monday. West Midlands Police stated that although three men had previously been convicted of manslaughter after a trial, their investigations into Mr. Mohamed’s death had persisted.
