Detectives conducting an investigation into a fatal assault in Northampton have charged a man with murder. Clinton Obeng Oppong Antwi, 23, died in hospital on Wednesday, soon after emergency services were dispatched to Flaxwell Court, Standens Barn, at 17:40 GMT, following reports of a serious attack. Northamptonshire Police stated that a post-mortem examination determined a stab wound to be the preliminary cause of death. Junior Emmanuel Uwadia, 25, of Northfield Way, Northampton, is set to appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday. Police confirmed that two other men, aged 22 and 23, who were arrested in connection with the case, have been released on bail pending additional inquiries. They further indicated their continued interest in hearing from any witnesses who have not yet contacted them, or anyone with information, CCTV, doorbell, or dash-cam footage from the area at the time.
