The assault occurred on Great Wilson Street during the early hours of Wednesday, December 18, as the woman was returning home from an evening out. West Yorkshire Police reported that the victim had been followed from the vicinity of Call Lane prior to the incident, which took place at a bus stop near Asda House. Authorities confirmed that a 27-year-old man has been charged in connection with the event and has been remanded in custody, with an appearance scheduled at Leeds Magistrates Court on Monday.
