Police have announced that a 58-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting that occurred in Crumlin, County Antrim. Previously, it was reported that a shot was fired at another man after a dispute at a house situated on Randox Road at 17:30 GMT on Thursday. The targeted individual was not physically harmed but was described as being “very shaken” by the incident. The 58-year-old suspect also faces charges of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence, and carrying a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence. He is scheduled to appear before Antrim Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 24 December.
