A man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in which a woman in her 30s sustained multiple stab wounds. Police reported that they were summoned to an address on Lowestoft Road in Carlton Colville, Suffolk, at approximately 02:10 GMT on Saturday. A 34-year-old man, who resides on Lowestoft Road, was taken into custody at 19:00 on the same day. He was also charged with threatening a person with a knife in a private location, with the other victim being a teenage child. Suffolk Police stated that their officers arrived at the scene within “minutes” of the call. The victim was transported to a hospital with serious injuries; however, the force confirmed these injuries were not life-threatening.
