An individual has been charged with drug and money laundering offences subsequent to a police investigation into the sale of narcotics on the platform known as the dark web. Andrew Percival, 34, from Featherstone, Staffordshire, faces various allegations concerning the possession and supply of illegal drugs, alongside money laundering. Staffordshire Police reported that personnel conducted a search of a property in Featherstone during February 2023, uncovering class B and class C drugs estimated to be worth around £10,000. Additionally, a parcel containing illicit substances was seized at Heathrow Airport. Mr Percival is scheduled for an appearance at Dudley Magistrates’ Court on 2 January.
