A driver has been charged after his vehicle struck a house, causing partial destruction to its front, following an attempt by police to pull him over. The incident occurred around 03:45 GMT on Sunday in The Quadrant, St Ives, Cambridgeshire. Authorities stated they had initially attempted to stop the car on East Street in the town before the collision. A 43-year-old man subsequently faces charges including dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving without insurance, driving without a licence, possession of cannabis, and criminal damage to two vehicles and a dwelling. Cambridgeshire Police confirmed that no individuals were injured in the crash, and engineers were called to secure the property and assess the damage.
