Police have confirmed the arrest of a man in connection with a firearm incident in Plymouth. Devon and Cornwall Police reported that officers were dispatched to North Hill on Tuesday at 05:45 GMT, responding to calls about a man who had been shot in the chest with an air rifle. A 45-year-old individual from Plymouth was apprehended on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. A police spokesperson stated that the injured man was transported to a hospital but has since been released. The suspect has since been released on police bail, and the force has assured the public that there is “no wider threat” following the incident.
