In a released statement, Mr. Murray’s family conveyed that they “appreciate the expressions of sympathy and support since we have discovered the sad news of [his] untimely death.” The family further requested: “We, at this time, ask for privacy as we deal with our grief and loss.” Det Ch Insp Lee commented: “We understand some residents may have concerns in relation to this incident, and I would like to take this opportunity to reassure the community that we believe this to be an isolated incident with no wider threat.” Post navigation Operation Targets Illegal Private Hire Pick-Ups, Drivers Face Licence Review Widow ‘Hugely Proud’ of New Honour for Off-Duty PC
