An individual has been taken into custody subsequent to a stabbing incident that resulted in the victim sustaining critical injuries. Bedfordshire Police responded to a call on Dallow Road, Luton, at approximately 17:40 GMT on Saturday. A man, identified as being in his 20s, is currently being held in custody concerning what authorities have described as a “targeted attack.” By Sunday afternoon, a police cordon had been established, leading to the closure of several roads in the vicinity, specifically Malvern Road, Newcombe Road, Vernon Road, and a section of Dallow Road. Detective Inspector James Day stated: “We believe this to be a targeted attack against a man in his 20s who has been left in a critical condition.” He added: “We currently have one man in his 20s from Luton in custody in connection with this incident and our investigation into the circumstances are ongoing.” Day further commented: “We are carrying out all lines of inquiry to locate anyone who may have been involved.” Members of the public possessing information are urged to contact law enforcement officials.
