A taxi driver has been hospitalized with severe head injuries after an assault. Essex Police stated that the victim, a man in his 40s, was discovered in Brinkley Grove Road, Colchester, at approximately 01:50 GMT on Saturday. He is currently receiving medical attention for a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain. On Sunday, an individual was apprehended on suspicion of committing grievous bodily harm with intent. Authorities are seeking to identify a second suspect, described as being between 20 and 25 years old, of slim build, and standing between 5ft 5in and 5ft 9in tall.
