Man Arrested After Vehicle Overturns, Two Hospitalized

A man has been taken into custody on suspicion of drug driving, and two individuals are receiving medical care in hospital following a car rolling onto its roof. Gloucestershire Constabulary announced that sections of the road were closed between Littledean Road at its junction with Oak Way and Elton Corner, located near Westbury-on-Severn. The route was subsequently reopened later in the day. A female patient was transported to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, while a male patient was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in Gloucester. Police are requesting that anyone who drove on Elton Road at approximately 15:10 GMT on Sunday and witnessed the incident or its aftermath make contact with them. Gloucestershire Constabulary has not yet confirmed whether any other vehicles were involved in the occurrence.
