A man has been taken into custody following a suspected hit-and-run incident that left three children and three adults injured, police reported. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) stated that all six individuals were transported to a hospital after the collision, which took place in Openshaw at approximately 20:30 GMT on Tuesday. A spokesperson for the police force, who urged anyone with details about the event to come forward, confirmed that the vehicle involved in the crash on Bob Massey Close did not stop after the impact. GMP indicated that a man was later apprehended on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, assaulting an emergency worker, failing to stop for police, and possession of drugs with intent to supply.
