A man and a woman have appeared in court, charged with the murder of a pensioner. North Yorkshire Police were summoned to a residence in Whitethorn Close, Huntington, York, where the body of 72-year-old Michael Bradley was found on 5 November. Jason Holdgate, 32, of Whitethorn Close, and Nicola Anne Beck, 42, of no fixed abode, also face charges of motor vehicle theft. The two individuals did not enter a plea and have been remanded in custody at Leeds Crown Court, with a further appearance set for 13 December. A provisional trial date has been scheduled for 27 May next year.
