A man has admitted causing the death of a 23-year-old on Christmas Eve last year. William Bush died after being discovered with serious injuries at a property in the Llandaff area of Cardiff on 24 December 2023. Dylan Thomas, 24, appeared at Cardiff Crown Court on Wednesday, connecting via video link from Ashworth High Secure Hospital. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter but denied murder. The prosecuting counsel, Gregory Bull KC, stated that the Crown did not accept this plea, and Mr Thomas is now set to stand trial for murder on 12 November.
