An individual has entered a guilty plea to the rape of a teenager within a nature area. The girl reported the attack on 27 September, stating she had been assaulted by an unknown man in the Deadwater Valley area of Bordon, Hampshire. Oliver Smith, 21, from South Hurst, Whitehill, confessed to eight charges. These included rape, attempted rape of a girl under 16, making threats with a blade, and violating a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. He has been held in custody pending his sentencing at Portsmouth Crown Court on 24 January. Smith further admitted guilt to two counts of false imprisonment, committing an offence with the intent to perpetrate a sexual offence, and compelling a person to engage in sexual activity without consent.
