He faces charges related to making hoax calls to West Yorkshire Police, specifically a bomb hoax, and intentionally or recklessly causing a public nuisance. During the brief hearing, no pleas were entered. The matter has been referred to Leeds Crown Court, where Mr Cannon is scheduled to make another appearance on January 9.
