A segment of the M4 will be closed during overnight hours this weekend. The affected portion is the westbound carriageway, specifically between junction 10, which serves Winnersh, and junction 11, situated near Whitley Wood. Additionally, the A329M slip road, providing access to the M4 in both directions, will also be shut. These road sections are scheduled to close at 21:00 GMT and will reopen at 06:00 the following morning, applying to both Saturday and Sunday. Thames Valley Police indicated that the purpose of these closures is to enable National Highways to safely perform inspections on structures.
