A segment of the M4 has reopened after hydraulic fluid was spilled across the carriageway early on Thursday, as stated by National Highways. The road was closed between junction 15 for Swindon and junction 14 for Hungerford for the majority of Thursday, but traffic resumed at approximately 20:40 GMT. Lane closures are presently in place for scheduled overnight works along the identical stretch of road, although motorists are able to drive through. National Highways undertook emergency resurfacing efforts because the road surface was “significantly damaged” by the spillage.
