A section of the M27 motorway was closed following an incident where a man fell from a bridge. The motorway was initially shut in both directions between junctions 9 and 11, located near Fareham, Hampshire, after a 21-year-old man was discovered at approximately 08:30 GMT. Both carriageways have since been reopened to traffic. Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary reported that the man sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital.
