A section of the M1 motorway in Leicestershire has been reopened to traffic subsequent to a van fire. National Highways East Midlands confirmed that the northbound carriageway had been closed on Monday morning, impacting the route between junction 22 at Leicester and junction 23 at Loughborough. Diversion routes were established while emergency crews worked to extinguish the fire. The road became fully operational again shortly after 10:00 GMT.
