Luton Town manager Rob Edwards hopes his squad will embrace the upcoming challenge of playing away against Championship leaders Leeds United on Wednesday. This season, The Hatters have recorded only one league victory on the road and have been defeated in their last four away fixtures. “My mindset is to look forward to the challenges – a night game at Elland Road is really exciting isn’t it,” Edwards told BBC Three Counties Radio. He further commented, “We’re going there off the back of a win so we have to go and enjoy it and be the best we can be.” Edwards’ position at Kenilworth Road has been under scrutiny following a disappointing start to the season, which occurred after their relegation from the Premier League. The head coach stated he returned “refocused” from the recent international break, and his team subsequently moved out of the relegation zone with a 1-0 victory over Hull City on Saturday. “Whatever will happen, will happen and the result will take care of itself but let’s go there and give a right good go,” Edwards added.
