Luke Campbell, having recently returned to the Jersey Bulls squad after a two-month injury layoff, scored two goals in stoppage time, enabling his team to stage a dramatic 4-3 comeback victory against Corinthian Casuals in the Combined Counties Premier South. This thrilling match saw five goals scored in the final 11 minutes, allowing Elliot Powell’s side to somehow secure the win and maintain their third-place position in the table. The islanders initially took the lead in the 10th minute when Francis Lekimamati capitalized on a defensive error and finished effectively. However, Casuals drew level 14 minutes later as Shea Cascoe-Rogers concluded a counter-attack with a goal. Reyon Dillon then put the hosts ahead in the 85th minute, making it 2-1, but Bulls substitute Seaney McColgan equalized just three minutes later. Kieron Cadogan subsequently restored Casuals’ lead two minutes after that from a hotly contested free kick, but just when a defeat for the Bulls seemed certain, Campbell appeared at the back post to level the score. The experienced defender, however, was not finished. He was once again at the back post to convert a cross from Lekimamati, sealing their sixth successive victory across all competitions.
