A collision on the M18 resulted in a lorry driver being transported to a hospital due to injuries that are potentially life-changing. According to Humberside Police, two heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) were involved in a collision on the M18 southbound, specifically close to Greenlands Lane, near Goole. This incident occurred approximately at 11:35 GMT on Wednesday. The individual operating one of the HGVs, identified as a red Scania, was transported for medical attention at a hospital. Subsequent to the crash, the road remained inaccessible for multiple hours to facilitate police investigations and the removal of both vehicles. The road has since been reopened. Humberside Police has issued an appeal, requesting that anyone who observed the incident or possesses relevant dashcam footage contact them.
