London’s Dagenham Girl Pipers to Disband After Nearly a Century

One of London’s most venerable and cherished female bagpipe bands is set to disband after nearly a century of performances. The Dagenham Girl Pipers have performed internationally, including for notable figures such as the late Queen and Elvis. Their final performance is scheduled for this year’s Remembrance Sunday commemorations in Dagenham, east London.
