Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, Cahill remarked, “I thoroughly enjoyed their performance.” He further observed, “Liverpool were so energetic, which is to be expected at Anfield but I am sure the fans loved it.” He added, “What impresses me is the tempo they played at and the confidence they are playing with.” Regarding whether goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher will maintain his position once Alisson returns, Cahill commented: “The old saying goes, ‘when you have a chance you have to take it’ and Kelleher has certainly done that.” Cahill concluded, “Liverpool have a world class keeper in Alisson, who will probably come back in, but it is a good headache for the manager to have.”
