The family of a football supporter who passed away on Saturday while returning from a Liverpool match has characterized him as “a ray of sunshine.” Neil Bradley, aged 59, was involved in a collision at approximately 22:15 GMT on Lister Drive in Liverpool, where his vehicle hit a wall and a lamp post. He had been driving from Anfield stadium, heading towards his residence in Greater Manchester. Mr. Bradley was transported to a hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries. A statement released by his family conveyed: “He was a ray of sunshine and could light up any room with his jokes.” The family further noted that he possessed an “insatiable thirst for life and often enjoyed running, trainspotting, listening to rock music and supporting his boyhood club Liverpool”. Although originally from Liverpool, Mr. Bradley had recently relocated to Oldham. Law enforcement officials stated that no other vehicles were implicated in the incident and have issued an appeal for any witnesses to come forward. Det Sgt Andy Roper of Merseyside Police commented: “Neil had been to the Liverpool v Aston Villa match at Anfield and we believe he had parked his 2015 red Ford Focus near to Newsham Park and Orphan Drive.” He added: “Any piece of information, no matter how small or insignificant it may appear, could assist us in providing answers for Neil’s family.” Post navigation Fatal Car Collision Claims Woman’s Life, Injures Daughter Man Imprisoned for Knife Attack on Former Partner
