A property has been made subject to a three-month closure order following numerous reports of anti-social conduct. According to police, residents residing close to Sandys Crescent in Littleport, Cambridgeshire, “endured no end of anti-social behaviour incidents” prior to the issuance of the closure order. While the current tenants are permitted to remain at the residence, no other individuals, apart from emergency service personnel, are authorized to enter. PC Will Speak stated: “The closure order allows the tenants to remain living at the address but will prevent those who have been attending to commit anti-social behaviour and other criminal offences.” The order was granted subsequent to a successful application presented by East Cambridgeshire’s Neighbourhood Policing Team to Peterborough Magistrates’ Court. This measure was initiated due to a high volume of anti-social behaviour reports originating from the specific address. Cambridgeshire Police warned that any individual found unlawfully on the premises would be subject to arrest. For updates on Cambridgeshire news, follow BBC Sounds, Facebook, Instagram, and X.
