Leyton Orient has confirmed that winger Jordan Graham sustained a ruptured patella tendon in his left knee. This injury occurred during the team’s 2-0 loss to Huddersfield Town on Tuesday. The 29-year-old, whom the club stated will be unable to play for an “extended period,” had previously been out of action for 10 months with a similar injury before his return in September. In an external statement published on the League One club’s website, Graham expressed: “As you can imagine, my heart is hurting severely right now.” “I wanted to return and give the club a season of magic after working so hard for the last 12 months. Unfortunately, I’ve been dealt a different road.” “But my mindset will remain the same. I’ll work as hard as I possibly can to become a better version of myself on and off the pitch.” Orient head coach Richie Wellens added: “We are all so gutted for Jordan. To suffer a repeat of the same injury that he had almost exactly 12 months ago is devastating.” “It is so important that we as a club, and the wider Leyton Orient community, rally behind Jordan in these next few months.”
