Interim England manager Lee Carsley anticipates that Manchester City forward Jack Grealish will be fit to participate in the forthcoming Nations League fixtures against Greece and the Republic of Ireland. Grealish has been sidelined from City’s lineup since 20 October due to a groin injury. Carsley stated, “We are fully in contact with the medical staff and we expect Jack to be fit.” He added, “He’s trained in the last couple of days so he’ll come in, we’ll assess him and make sure he’s ready to play.” The interim manager further remarked on Grealish’s significance, saying, “I think he’s an important player not just for this camp but for the future. He’s a player who is great to coach and he’s an infectious character throughout the changing room, on and off the pitch.” Carsley concluded, “You can see he enjoys playing for England so he’s a player we wanted to give as long as we could.” Post navigation Arteta Highlights Team’s Effectiveness in “Big Performance, Big Win” Crystal Palace’s Daichi Kamada Situation and January Transfer Requirements
