Bonfire Night celebrations are scheduled throughout Kent this weekend. Festivities are set to occur from Friday until Tuesday, featuring attractions such as live music and torch-lit parades. The Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) has issued a reminder to attendees to enjoy the occasions responsibly and safely. Steve Burwell, an area manager for KFRS, stated: “Whilst we want everyone to enjoy this time of year, we urge people to do so carefully and sensibly.” A selection of events scheduled throughout the county is detailed below. Pembury Parish Council will present its yearly fireworks show at the Lower Green Recreation Ground. Admission for adults costs £5 when purchased online and £6 at the entrance. Entry commences at 18:30 GMT, with the fireworks commencing at 19:30. Dunorlan Park in Tunbridge Wells will feature a fireworks spectacle synchronized to music. Gates open at 17:30, and the display is scheduled for 19:00. Online tickets are available for £12.50. Kent Life will host its yearly fireworks spectacular at Heritage Farm Park in Maidstone. This event will include fairground attractions, fire performers, and stalls offering food and beverages. Adult admission is £18, with the display beginning at 18:00. Quex Park in Birchington-on-Sea is organizing two fireworks displays. Gates open at 15:00, and the evening’s entertainment will feature musical performances, fire artists, and a bonfire. Tickets purchased online are £15.95. The Third Sevenoaks Scout Group is organizing a fireworks display in Riverhead. Two separate displays are planned for Bradbourne Vale Road: a quieter one from 16:00 to 18:00, and a louder one from 18:30 to 20:30. Adult tickets are priced at £8 and can be acquired from designated local partners detailed online. The Medway Yacht Club’s bonfire night commences at 18:00. The bonfire lighting is scheduled for 18:30, followed by a fireworks display at 19:00. An adult ticket costs £10. Benenden village will host its yearly bonfire and fireworks event. The bonfire will be ignited at 18:30, with fireworks commencing at 19:00. Adult tickets are available for £7 online or £9 at the gate. Edenbridge has unveiled an effigy of Ticketmaster and the Gallagher brothers, which will be set alight during Saturday’s bonfire festivities. A torch-lit carnival procession will proceed through the town starting at 18:30, concluding with a firework display at 20:30. Brewing Brothers at Folkestone Harbour Arm is slated to present a complimentary beachside fireworks display. Attendees are invited from 18:00 for the display at 19:00. The Isle of Sheppey Rugby Football Club will stage a fireworks display. Gates open at 18:00, and adult tickets are £5. Tonbridge’s yearly fireworks display will again take place at the Racecourse Sports Ground within Tonbridge Park. Entry begins at 17:00, with the display scheduled to commence at 18:30. Adult tickets are £12.50. The Spitfire Ground, Kent Cricket’s venue in Canterbury, is hosting its annual fireworks evening. Featuring live music and a funfair, the display is expected to begin at 19:15. St Peter’s Town Council will present a free fireworks display at Viking Bay in Broadstairs.
