Jordan Ayew Reflects on Equaliser and Match Outcome

Leicester striker Jordan Ayew provided comments to Sky Sports following his late equaliser: “It was a difficult game. I think a draw is a fair result. When you play this type of game, it’s difficult away from home. It was always going to be difficult and we managed to come away with a draw. We take it and move on.” He elaborated on his contribution from the substitutes’ bench: “When you’re on the bench, you want to come on and make an impact and help the team. It doesn’t happen every time. It worked today. When I came on, I had a first chance and it was cleared on the line. I had another one and it went in with a bit of luck.” Ayew concluded by stating the importance of the result: “It was important because we knew it was a difficult game. We wanted to win of course.
