Jersey Santa Dash Event Raises £11,000 for Hospice Care

An annual fun run in Jersey, featuring over 400 participants dressed as Santa Claus, has generated £11,000. Organisers reported that the Santa Dash run, held on December 5, surpassed its previous fundraising record for Jersey Hospice Care. According to the charity, the collected funds are sufficient to cover approximately one week of care within its patient unit. Marina Brockbank, the community engagement officer at Jersey Hospice Care, expressed that she was “thrilled” by the contributions of all participants. She stated: “Not only did we have a brilliant turnout, but it also raised the most amount of money it’s ever raised – and that just shows how fantastic our dashers and their supporters are. “It makes a huge difference in supporting the work we do.”Thanks again to everyone who took part or supported our fun run.”
