Jarell Quansah Joins England Squad Following Jarrad Branthwaite’s Withdrawal

Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite has withdrawn from the most recent England squad, marking the ninth player to do so. The 22-year-old, who holds one cap for the Three Lions, did not journey to Greece with the remainder of the squad and has returned to his club. Jarell Quansah, an uncapped 21-year-old centre-back from Liverpool, is set to join the squad as Branthwaite’s replacement. He has participated in training sessions with England over the last two days.
