Supporters were invited to share their perspectives on an overlooked aspect of Ipswich’s performance, whether positive or negative. The following are some of the submitted comments: Shaun: We have dropped the most points from a winning position in the entire league. If we hadn’t dropped those points, we would be sitting easily in the top half!! Alan: I haven’t studied the facts and figures but in my mind we would be in the top half of the table if we looked at the scores after 75 minutes. So we just need to learn how to carry on for those extra minutes. Mick: People forget that two seasons ago we were playing the likes of Cheltenham Town and Forest Green Rovers. As great as our story has been, the reality is that we did it too quickly. Another season in the Championship (at least) would have given us time to build a stronger squad – and that’s what we are missing today. Stephen: Town are trusting the process. The plan is for the long term and we are currently ahead of schedule. But now the club is here, it will fight to stay. The best signing we did this season was keeping Kieran McKenna who is without doubt the best young coach in the country. I hope we can keep him. James: Why is McKenna still playing Arijanet Muric?? He is a good enough manager to realise that Muric has cost us so many points. James: The goalkeeper position is surely up for debate? While being a good shotstopper, Muric has been suspect with his feet. I would give Christian Walton a chance against Wolves.
