Police have confirmed that five individuals, who were apprehended in connection with the demise of a man in Plymouth, have been released under investigation as further inquiries proceed. The victim, Shane Jamie Sweet, a 36-year-old resident of Plymouth, succumbed to stab wounds on Monday at 14:30 GMT on Cambridge Road, Ford. A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police stated on Wednesday that a 42-year-old man was taken into custody on suspicion of murder, and a 42-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of assisting the offender. Additionally, three women, aged 27, 38, and 40, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder. By Thursday, law enforcement officials announced that all arrested individuals had been released under investigation, pending the continuation of further inquiries.
