An individual has entered a plea of not guilty to the murder of a 19-year-old mother, who was discovered fatally stabbed in a West Sussex car park. Jason Flore, 26, of no fixed address, denied both the murder and manslaughter of Stephanie Marie during a court hearing held at Lewes Crown Court on Wednesday. Ms Marie was located in the car park at Crawley railway station at 07:10 BST on 18 August. Paramedics provided treatment, but she succumbed to her injuries at the scene. A trial has been scheduled to begin on 3 February next year. In a prior statement, Ms Marie’s family conveyed their sorrow, saying: “We are devastated that her young life has been ended in this way. She had her whole life ahead of her.“At school she excelled at sport and loved basketball, football and gymnastics. We will miss her so much. Life will never be the same.”
