An inquiry is scheduled following a fire near a city railway station, which necessitated the deployment of over ten fire crews. Emergency services were summoned to a third-floor apartment situated on Great Northern Road in Cambridge, just before 16:10 GMT on Friday. A fire spokesman confirmed that one individual was transported to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation after exiting the premises. The spokesman further indicated that the blaze originated in a bedroom and was brought under control safely within two hours of the initial alert.
