An individual in his sixties has been accused of murder subsequent to a fatal stabbing incident that resulted in one death and injuries to two other people at a market situated in south London. Law enforcement officials responded to notifications of multiple individuals having been stabbed on East Street in Walworth around 10:40 GMT on Sunday. According to the Metropolitan Police, officers discovered three individuals with severe injuries; one of these, Hilkiah McLeggan, aged 77, from Southwark, succumbed to his injuries at the location. The two remaining men were transported to a hospital, where they both continue to receive care, with one reported to be in a critical state.
