An individual has been accused of causing death by dangerous driving in relation to a deadly collision. Emergency responders were dispatched to Hucknall Road in Carrington, Nottingham, on Wednesday night, where a 23-year-old male was declared deceased subsequent to being struck by a vehicle. According to Nottinghamshire Police, the 23-year-old suspect, from Bestwood, also faces charges for driving while impaired by drugs, operating a vehicle without insurance, possessing cannabis, and dishonestly withholding information. The police force further stated that he was held in custody and scheduled to appear before Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday. Law enforcement officials reported that two additional men, aged 21 and 27, were also apprehended on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, but have since been released on police bail. Sgt Mark Barker commented: “This was a tragic incident that led to a young man’s death. Officers have been working continually over the last 38 hours to gather evidence, interview witnesses and secure these charges.
