A 40-year-old individual has been charged with murder subsequent to the passing of a man in his seventies, which occurred over the weekend. Detectives were dispatched to a property in Garsington, near Oxford, shortly after 22:00 GMT on Sunday. The pensioner was discovered with a serious head injury at the Oxford Road address and died in hospital on Tuesday, Thames Valley Police reported. Daniel Gonzalez, who resides on Oxford Road, Garsington, was charged on Wednesday with murder in connection with the incident. Mr Gonzalez has also been charged with actual bodily harm, related to an assault on a police officer. He was scheduled to appear at Oxford Magistrates Court on Wednesday. Thames Valley Police confirmed that the man in his 70s has yet to be formally identified, but his next of kin have been notified of his death.
