The identity of a man, whose body was discovered in a wetsuit in a reservoir over two weeks ago, has yet to be established. Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed that the body, retrieved from Claerwen Reservoir, Powys, on 18 October, belongs to a male believed to be aged between 30 and 60. Detective Inspector Anthea Ponting stated that a post-mortem examination had been carried out, revealing the man’s height to be approximately 6ft (1.83m) and that he was clad in a Zone 3 Agile wetsuit. She further indicated that the individual was estimated to have been deceased for a period ranging from three to 12 weeks. “If you think this new information could relate to someone you may know please speak to police.” Additionally, she mentioned that law enforcement officials are appealing to anyone who has visited the vicinity since early July and observed anything unusual, such as bags or shoes, to come forward.
