The cyclist who died following a collision with a truck on a roundabout has been identified as Brandon Valentine. Merseyside Police reported that the 25-year-old victim, a resident of Liscard, succumbed to his injuries at the location of the incident, which occurred close to Tower Road, in Seacombe, Wirral, around 07:35 GMT on Tuesday. According to officers, the driver of the heavy goods vehicle remained at the site of the collision. A 36-year-old man, previously detained on suspicion of causing death by careless driving, has since been released while the investigation continues. Authorities have urged anyone possessing information or relevant footage to come forward and contact them. Detective Sergeant Andy Roper stated: “I ask motorists in the vicinity at that time to please check your dashcam footage to see if it has captured anything which could assist our inquiries.“Every piece of information or footage could be vital in establishing what happened and provide his family with answers.”
