Hull City winger Mohamed Belloumi is reportedly set to miss the remainder of the current season. This comes after he sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury during Tuesday’s defeat at Oxford United, as understood by BBC Radio Humberside. The 22-year-old player was substituted in the 78th minute of the 1-0 loss, which took place at the Kassam Stadium. The Algerian international marks the second Tigers forward to suffer a season-ending ACL injury, following Liam Millar’s similar diagnosis in October. Belloumi, who joined Hull City from Portuguese side Farense in the summer, had contributed two goals in 10 appearances for the club.
